Mickey the Jump

A film I was shooting up to the final hours before moving away during the summer of 2010. It captures a surreal time in my life—a few months of hometown normalcy surrounded by months-long and years-long stints in Japan on both sides.

I'm thankful for the opportunity to look at the environment of my first 22 years with that combination of nostalgia and regret, while still being able to inhabit it a little while longer.

Also, I managed to graduate my Mass Communications program without finishing my senior project. Even though this was completed several months after receiving my diploma, I rationalize that this was my actual senior project.

Most of it is in black and white so that you know it is Art.
